INFORMATION NEEDED FOR A POSSIBLE CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST SUN GROVE RESORT VILLAGE IN PEORIA ARIZONA


We are gathering information about Sun Grove Resort Village located at 10134 W. Mohawk Ln. Peoria, AZ 85382.  This information is needed for the Press and a possible CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT for their illegal activities.


Elder Abuse and Fraud is up but less is being done about it due to budget cut-backs.

We and Shari Parrott filed elder abuse and fraud complaints against Sun Grove Resort Village (SGRV) but nothing was done. The Peoria Police refused to contact our witnesses and other victims because they did not have the manpower to properly investigate it. The Peoria Police even failed to discover that the SGRV manager, Scott Green, was a 2005 Medicare Fraud Felon that made his living defrauding seniors since 1999. Scott Green was terminated from SGRV after eight years of criminal activity there on 08/28/12. Scott Green is presently being investigated for embezzlement. Sadly, 33 of our 58 senior abuse victims, that we know of, have died without any Justice from Arizona. That is the reason for our CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against SGRV and all responsible parties. 

We and Catherine Reinertson, Millie Totenbusch, and Sally Byers filed Fair Housing Violation complaints with the Arizona Attorney General but nothing was done. We filed a formal complaint with the Arizona Department of Health Services about SGRV's false advertising and poor living conditions but nothing was done because it was out of their jurisdiction due to the lack of Arizona Laws. We and Ruth Grabach filed complaints with the Arizona Board of Nursing about SGRV's Impostor Nurse, Claudia Marquez, who was misrepresenting herself as a nurse, illegally dispensing medications, and illegally obtaining confidential patient information but nothing was done. We and Pat Forst filed complaints with the Peoria Fire Department that SGRV was a fire hazard with no emergency fire procedures/drills, none working elevator phones, and full gasoline containers behind the clubhouse but nothing was done. We are other filed complaints with the Arizona Environmental Services concerning poor kitchen procedures and health hazards. SGRV had 13 kitchen inspections in the past three years with 24 major food violations. Arizona Environmental Services failed SGRV's pool several times and found mold and mosquitoes in the front fountain. We filed complaints with the Peoria Building Code Inspection about the dangerous exposed electrical wiring, dangerous uneven water filled walkways, and dilapidated building but nothing was done. We filed a complaint with the Arizona Environmental Air Agency and CDC about the mold at SGRV but nothing was done. It is no wonder that the press in unable to verify criminal and dangerous activities at SGRV because the governmental officials do very little because of budget cutbacks. 

Please indicate on your Class Action Lawsuit form if you went to the Peoria Police, Arizona Attorney General, or other agencies but nothing was done to help you. We already have information about employees that were wrongfully terminated and filed complaints but Arizona agencies did nothing. You have to stand up for your rights and fight to get Justice because Arizona's Law Enforcement System is not working.

17. Did SGRV allow the usage of the guest apartment when a SGRV resident’s apartment became unlivable? Examples are water leaks, electrical problems, or a broken air conditioning unit.  Did you ever use the guest apartment because of problems with your SGRV apartment?




18. Did SGRV accept all package delivery for the residents at the front desk? Was there ever a memo banning the delivery of medication packages? Are you aware of any refusing of the delivery of medication packages and if so which resident had their medication package delivery refused?




19. Did SGRV have a Residents Handbook that was given to their new residents?  Did you receive a SGRV Residents’ Handbook?


20.  How much MONEY did SGRV DEFRAUD you and what are your damages?
