Due to our poor health we had to cancel our 03/19/13 senior protection class HELP STOP SENIOR FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION that was to be presented at the Sun City West Recreation Auditorium.

We are looking forward to getting better and to be able to teach our Arizona Destinations classes in May. These are fun classes where you can plan you own Arizona Travel Adventures with the information presented. Arizona is a beautiful state and we discuss many usual, fun, and historic destinations.

Sorry to disappoint the many interested seniors with the cancellation of our senior protection class. We appreciate your support in fighting elder abuse. We will let you know by our FACEBOOK when it will be presented again.

Experts say the Crime of the 21^st Century is SENIOR FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION. Nearly 20% of Arizona’s 6.4 million residents are over 60 years old. A recently completed Arizona State University population study predicts that over 3 million (26%) seniors will be living Arizona in 2050. The MetLife Study of Elder Financial Abuse estimates the annual senior losses are $2.9 billion. However, only 2.2% of senior losses are ever reported. This criminal activity is growing at an alarming rate of over 6% annually in the US. Elder Abuse is a epidemic problem in Arizona with over 10,000 complaints reported annually to the Arizona Department of Adult Protective Services.  A senior is abused every five seconds in the United States.

This Presentation is being hosted by Mark and Carol Fairall. They are victims of senior financial exploitation and they know many other seniors who also have suffered from this heinous criminal activity. They wish to help protect you by sharing their knowledge. Their elder abuse Private Investigator, Jacob Mueller of Global Eye Investigations, will share additional ideas for your senior financial protection. They all feel that knowledge is the best weapon to STOP senior financial exploitation. This Presentation will give you that knowledge and insight from real senior exploitation victims and from a real private investigator.

Mark and Carol Fairall are uniquely qualified to speak about the protection of seniors. Mark was an Arizona bank manager and bank vice president for ten years. Mark was trained to prevent the fraud of his senior customers. He was active in stopping questionable and illegal business practices by being a Better Business Bureau Board Member for many years. They both are very active for over three years in fighting for the rights of the seniors living in an impostor assisted living facility located in Peoria. They were responsible for discovering that their former elder abusing landlord was a 2005 Medicare Fraud Felon. He was terminated from his manager’s position at his local senior housing facility on 08/28/12. The Fairalls ended the eight years of senior abuse and fraud by that senior living facility manager. The Fairalls know of 52 elder abuse cases from that senior living facility and 26 of those seniors have passed away without any Justice.  The Fairalls' class emphasize is that prosecution is not the answer on how to STOP ELDER ABUSE but it is PREVENTION. This senior protection class will only focus on helping you to avoid being a victim of elder abuse and senior financial exploitation.

Carol is uniquely qualified to speak because she is dying from the elder abuse she suffered. Carol is rejecting her transplanted liver due to her mold exposure. Our three dogs passed away due to liver cancer. Carol is trying to prevent the elder abuse that happened to her from happening to other vulnerable adults and seniors. The Fairalls' honor the memory of Mark's 94-year old aunt, Catherine Reinertson, who passed away due to elder abuse and financial exploitation. Their same landlord refused to renew her lease because she was related to Mark, refused to repair her broken air condition unit, forced her to move early because her apartment was unlivable, and extorted $3,000 from her in a baseless lawsuit. The Arizona Attorney General refused to investigate her 09/13/09 Fair Housing Complaint because they said they could not represent one person who had their civil rights violated.  HUD declined her 09/13/09 Fair Housing Complaint and said it is not illegal to discriminate because of a family relationship. The Peoria Police refused to contact her on our 05/30/10 elder abuse and fraud complaint because they said they were too busy to worry about elder abuse. Aunt Catherine Reinertson passed away 03/02/11 a very sad and broken women who was forced to move from her friends and home and was defrauded of $3,000.

Catherine Reinertson is just another forgotten, abused, and exploited victim of Elder Abuse who died without any Justice. No Law Enforcement Agency discovered that the individual who had attacked  her, Scott Green, was a Felon that made his living defrauding seniors since 1999. The Maricopa County Attorney refused to investigate until the Peoria Police found criminal activity. The Peoria Police closed their investigation without contacting any of the 12 other senior victims of abuse and fraud.. The Peoria Police Chief Roy Minter, Jr. still refused to investigate our 11/30/12 complaint of the continued criminal activity of false adverting, dangerous living conditions,  an impostor nurse, elder abuse, and financial exploitation at Sun Grove Resort Village located at 10134 W. Mohawk Ln. Peoria, AZ 85382.
