Beware of this 32 year-old senior living facility. Sun Grove Resort Village (SGRV) is not a licensed assisted living facility even though it advertises that on 12 internet sites. Check with the Arizona Department of Health Services to verify that SGRV is an "Impostor" Assisted Living Facility. SGRV has an advertised nurse working there but she too is an "Impostor Nurse". Check with the Arizona Department of Nursing to verify that Claudia Marquez was cited on 3/25/05 for being an "Impostor Nurse". SGRV does not have a working 24/7 emergency alarm system and SGRV residents have fallen and have pulled the SGRV intercom system cord but no one showed up to help them. Complaints have been filed with the Arizona Attorney General about their Elder Financial Exploitation Scam, the Better Business Bureau for their false advertising, and with HUD for their Violations of Fair Housing Rights and Discrimination.
