Please consider printing our Opinions Letter about the Arrowhead Justice Court. We are getting many hits on our online posting of the 65 elder Sun Grove Resort Village Elder (SGRV) Abuse Stories that we are presenting directly to the US Senate Special Committee on Aging in the Fall. We know you will not print this opinion letter. It will be in our package when we present the entire SGRV elder abuse story to the Senate in order to show how the Arizona Press has ignored one of the biggest elder abuse cases in the United States (SGRV's elder abuse story was classified in the top 10 of 250 elder abuse cases collected by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) last year).

ARROWHEAD COURT HAS A LONG WAY TO GO TO RESTORE ITS REPUTATION
We still don't trust the Arrowhead Justice of the Peace Court. Just because the new JP, Craig Wismer, is doing things right what is he doing to fix the past injustices? We and eleven other seniors are victims of baseless lawsuits of a senior living facility that was run by a felon and who made a living defrauding the elderly with baseless lawsuits. The senior living facility wrongly stated it was a licensed assisted living facility with a nurse on duty which were all lies. When the seniors moved to protect their health from unethical withholding of services, poor/dangerous living conditions, and the lack of trained medical help, they were sued.
The former incompetent Judge Melanie Deforest failed to follow court procedures in our trial. She threw out our 300+ pages of evidence, which the police had us detain it until the trial, as not presented timely (the court had said it was OK to hold the evidence to the trial because of a police investigation). She refused to delay the trial when our witness was in a coma. She even blocked our cross examination of the prosecution's witnesses. Judge Deforest ruled against us for over $20,000, which is in excess of court judgment limitation, and even broke the law of double satisfaction of a debt. All Dismissal Motions, Appeals, Fraud of the Court Motions, and a Formal Judicial Complaint against Deforest have been denied. The Arrowhead Justice Court even lost the only recording of our trial in the cover-up of the court mistakes and corruption. We have filed complaints with the FBI and Department of Justice about the Arrowhead Justice of the Peace Court's wrongful and illegal actions.
The seniors were abused and defrauded by the felon slumlord and the court helped him. Judge Wismer needs to review those injustices in order to really achieve a good reputation. That would bring back the Public's Trust and Confidence in the Arrowhead Justice of the Peace Court.
